PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS (I can’t help but the think the following is going to come across as almost “Sally Field – You Like Me.You Really Like Me”) in nature…. and while I know the orchestra will start to swell trying to force me to draw my statements to a merciful end,

I am more than overwhelmed…. I am hyper-whelmed….

thank you Dr. Fox for facilitating a girl’s dream to #smile once again…. thank to you, “S” will have a complete smile by September 1st…. what was a $26,000 project to restore an entire girl’s smile, now is a $7000 jog (of which $3805 has been covered through a GoFundMe campaign – visit it PLEASE… to to let her be able to seek employment, to not shy away from being in public, to have a life – you sir, are an angel of epic proportion

thank you to kind folks who helped me find my other’s Merchant Marine records… I now have a slightly less vague picture of that 16 year old Merchant Marine who would one day be my father….

I am humbled – as I so often am – by the kindness of both strangers and friends

so, I the writer, find myself indeed of another’s words

thus I bow to the far greater writing of Carol King…. this song has always reminded of all of you (even my cyber-friends I have yet to meet at all)… you’re in one or another line….

I love you all –

this is why…. (read & listen both)
this is how…..
this is always….

(read the lyrics, listen to Carol herself sing – … and see yourself and me walking the path together – for as long or short we ever did… or might again)

Now and forever you are a part of me
And the memory cuts like a knife
Didn’t we find the ecstacy? Didn’t we share the daylight?
When you walked into my life

Now and forever, I’ll remember
All the promises still unbroken
And think about all the words between us
That never needed to be spoken

We had a moment, just one moment
That will last beyond a dream, beyond a lifetime
We are the lucky ones
Some people never get to do all we got to do
Now and forever, I will always think of you

Didn’t we come together? Didn’t we live together?
Didn’t we cry together? Didn’t we play together?
Didn’t we love together? And together we lit up the world

I miss the tears, I miss the laughter
I miss the day we met and all that followed after
Sometimes I wish I could always be with you
The way we used to do

Oh now and forever, I will always think of you
Now and forever, I will always be with you
